The MedSense Infrared Non-Contact Thermometer provides users with a convenient, non-invasive way of testing body temperature without physical contact. Just hold the device at a distance of 3-5 cm away from the forehead and aim it at the middle of the forehead with the help of the LED positioning light. Press a button to take a measurement and get the results in under 1 second.

This thermometer is perfect for families, medical professionals, and workplace or public testing for contactless screening.

Easy to use and very accurate reading

Peace of mind

Have bought expensive thermometers from chemist before which were unreliable. This one is great, glad we purchased it.

Easy to use and Reliable

Bright clear screen, easy to use, consistent readings. Very happy with this purchase. Looks good compared to other ones. When selecting thermometer, I checked the distance you’re supposed to make the reading. Surprisingly the data sheets on other ones said you needed it at 0-1cm. This one you can use 3-5cm away. More practical and forgiving when using on a sick child.

I purchased this thermometer after a previous thermometer let me down. It is so easy to use and extremely quick and accurate.

Massive headache

I've had this unit for about 5 months. It works when it's running but the firmware is plagued with issues. It constantly disconnects from wifi and randomly stops dehumidifying while the fan continues to run. I've had to purchase separate humidity and power monitoring sensors to separately monitor and manage what should be a set and forget appliance.
Support have been a massive headache, initially not taking the reported issues seriously. I had to send the unit back and be without the device for weeks, even then having to spoon feed steps to reproduce the problems. After finally admitting to the problems I was sent my unit back. Months later I've been asked to send it back again for a fix. I have requested a replacement unit after all I've been through and they have now gone quiet. At no point have I even received an apology. If there was another similar device on the market from a different manufacturer I would be sending this thing back for a refund.
Massive headache, disappointment and ongoing frustration. A real shame for what would otherwise be a good product where there aren't many other options available.
I cannot recommend this one.

Love the AlcoSense Zenith

This little unit is a lifesaver, and having the ability to replace the sensor with a calibrated unit at a reasonable cost makes it even better. Highly recommended.

fantastic calibration service

i have been using the calibration service for years, very fast turnaround and the plans are so much cheaper than one off calibration

Ionmax+ ED18

Works well. Ionmax app didn't work, or the UI was so different to the instructions I gave up. I ended up using the Tuya app. Instructions need to be improved. It did stop working once, and I thought I had to return it, but fortunately I just had to crawl into the roof space and restart it with my phone nearby. I was hoping to use it 24 hours, but it is noisy, so it runs 11AM-10PM. Combined with the 3 other Desiccant dehumidifiers the humidity is down to 50%RH, although in the morning it is 60-80% as both Ionmax dehumidifiers have been off overnight. I did install a few fans to save money, but they are even noiser and the overnight humidity outside is 77% so now don't run overnight. For a 1960s house there is no underfloor insulation, no wall insulation, and the foam roof insulation is significantly degraded. If I had a spare $30k I would fix the root problem, but for now, what I have works on average, just higher electricity bills in winter. I have roof-top solar.
