The Calibration Management Plan is a pre-paid, yearly subscription that includes 2 calibrations plus return postage. The plans are cheaper and more convenient than booking in the calibrations manually every 6 months, and helps you to ensure that your breathalyser is maintained regularly.

Our calibration management plans are only valid for AlcoSense and Wingmate personal breathalysers.

Models include: AlcoSense Verity, Volt, Pro, Stealth, Checkmate, and Zenith+; Wingmate, Wingmate Pro and Wingmate Rover. If yours is one of these, please move on to Step 2.

There are two levels of service for the management plan - Silver and Gold.

Then, within 24 business hours, someone from our team will email you to confirm that your management plan has been set up.

If any details are missing, we'll call or email you first.

Frequently Asked Questions

The return postage included in both management plans are Standard Registered eParcel Post both ways.

We use Australia Post as our courier. Delivery times depend on your location. In general, Australia Post's delivery times are:

Sending to same state:
Metro - up to 2 business days
Country - up to 5 business days

Sending interstate:
Metro - up to 3-6 business days, depending on lodgement and destination points
Country - Please ask at your local Post Office

 

That's okay! We don't really need the exact date.

We ask this question because if it was calibrated or purchased recently (within the last 6 months), then we won't initiate a calibration service for it so quickly. (We recommend calibration every 6 months from the date of purchase.)

So if it was NOT purchased or calibrated within the last 6 months, then we'll schedule it for a calibration after your plan is set up.

This will be a bit tricky! The whole idea of how easy the management plan is has to do with email.

Unfortunately, we don't have a solution for customers without an email yet. However, if you can drop off the unit in our Vermont (VIC) office, then you can make use of our walk-in management plans!

Just call us on 1300 800 200 or drop by our office to sign up.

You'd need to book in your calibrations with us every 6 months.

Here are the steps involved for standard calibration bookings:

  1. Sign up or Log In to your My Andatech account.
  2. Register or select your breathalyser(s).
  3. Complete the booking form and select any desired add-ons.
  4. Complete the payment process.
  5. Print out the shipping label sent to you after booking.
  6. Pack your breathalyser and send it back to us.
  7. Repeat the steps above in 6 months when calibration is due.

By signing up to a management plan, you're eliminating steps 1-4 completely!

Awesome! You don't have to do anything until your next calibration is due.

Here's what usually happens after you buy a plan:

1) Order confirmation email - You'll receive an order confirmation email almost immediately in your email inbox. If you didn't receive this, please check your junk mail as system-automated emails sometimes end up there.

2) Successful setup email - Within the next business day, someone from our team will email you with a confirmation that your management plan has been set up. If you did not receive this after 2 business days, do let us know so we can check this for you.

3) Calibration due - Roughly 2 weeks before your calibration is due, we will send you an email asking you to confirm that your shipping address is correct. Once this is confirmed, we will email you the shipping label for you to print to send your unit back to us.

Notes:

  • Calibration is due every 6 months, starting from the date of purchase or your last calibration date.
  • Therefore, if your unit was calibrated or purchased MORE than 6 months ago, then we will initiate a calibration service for you under the management plan almost immediately after it's been set up.
  • You do not have to do anything else to book your unit in for calibration as this is done automatically for you for 2 calibrations in 1 year after you've signed up for a calibration management plan.

Shipping insurance covers loss or damage to your unit during transit.

This means that if you sent your unit back with Australia Post, and the parcel goes missing or is damaged, then we will replace the unit for you at no extra cost.

Note that the shipping insurance is only valid if you have posted your unit over the counter with Australia Post and obtained a lodgement receipt for it. For missing parcels, an Australia Post report is required (we will handle it from our end) and for damaged parcels, we will need proof of substantial, irrepairable damage.

It's easy!

  • Remove all accessories from your breathalyser (the mouthpieces, batteries, pouch, etc.)
  • Pack your breathalyser in a used or recycled padded bag, parcel bag, or box. Ensure it is secure and protected (use bubble wrap or any padding to protect the unit from damage during transit).
  • Check your email for the Shipping Label from us.
  • Ensure the sender's address (your address) at the bottom of the label is correct.
  • Print the shipping label.
  • Sign the "non-dangerous goods" declaration (at the bottom of the label).
  • Paste the label onto the outside of the padded bag / envelope.
  • Swing by Australia Post to send the unit back to us! You don't have to pay for postage! Remember to drop it off over the counter and get a lodgement receipt.
  • Keep the lodgement receipt in a secure place.

This depends on your location and which plan you signed up for. During peak holiday periods, we may also experience some delays with calibrations (but we will always inform you beforehand) and with shipping.

A very rough guide on how long it'll take to get your unit back:

For us to receive your breathalyser:
2-5 business days (depending on your location)

For us to calibrate your breathalyser:
1-2 business days (Silver or Gold management plan)
3-5 business days (normal calibration)

For you to receive your breathalyser back:
2-5 business days (depending on your location)

So in total, you may receive your breathalyser back in 5-10 business days or more, depending on your location.

 

No, they will not be renewed automatically.

Before your plan expires, we will send you an email asking you if you would like to renew your plan for an additional year.

If you do want to renew it, you can click the button in the email and complete the payment process.

(We do not keep your payment details for security purposes, so you will have to put in your payment details again).

Do not try booking it in by yourself on My Andatech. Any manually booked in calibrations will incur additional charges.
