Has worked well over 12 months, now getting calibration carried out. Dont drive unless it is .03 or lower to make sure I am OK. Small quick and easy to use.
All is good with my Andatech, Thankyou
Nifty super handy sized & convenient to take anywhere. Spot on for accuracy. Recommend.
works well. serves its purpose nicely.
Not happy about the product which I only have used half dozen times a year if that.
The screen is completely dead just as the warranty expired.
The unit was well looked after in its pouch in the glove box which is rarely opened.
What options do I have?
Happy with the product and the service/delivery time
Bought new breath analyser and free calibration. Although new analyser was faulty quick replacement and communication ensured no real inconvenience
We're sorry to hear about this, we do understand but please note that there are a lot of other factors to be considered in getting your BAC and these are :
Whether you regularly drink, whether you are fit, how healthy your liver is and how long since you last ate?
And these are aside from the factors you mentioned like age height, gender, type of drink, how much alcohol you drink and the time period over which you consume alcohol.
If you took a test without using a mouthpiece, using a mouthpiece will provide more accurate results.
We take pride in offering quality products and in supporting these products. If you believe you are having issues with your unit please, contact our support department so we can get the issue corrected.
Bought this about a week or so ago and have tested in on multiple occasions with multiple people (always waiting 15-20 minutes after drinking) and believe it underestimate your BAC. E.g. 6 standard drinks (cans of XXXX gold) over 3 hours = 0.05%. Did not feel I would be right to drive (178cm, 23yo male, 75kg). A friend (185cm, 95kg 25yo male) 7 schooners of carlton draught over 6 hours = 0.07%.
I would think it feels like about 0.02% UNDER what it should be... Would prefer it to be accurate or over estimate....
